Zipteam Matches Skillsets with Employees

When a company calls itself “Spotify for the workplace,” you take notice. That’s what I did when interviewing Daisuke Nishimura, product management and marketing for Zipteam, in this Spotlight Series video.

The idea behind Zipteam, Nishimura told me, was to help quickly find coworkers with skillsets that match a need you have. He gives the example of needing to find a developer with experience with user authentication in Python environments.

Rather than spending time tracking down that person—or worse, hiring a consultant with that expertise when someone on staff can already do it—Zipteam can find them for you.

Nishimura says that most companies have large challenges around collecting skills data for employees, and Zipteam eases that burden. Watch the whole interview to learn more.
